Scrubbing: Once the floor stripper has effectively loosened the buildup, we employ an aggressive scrubbing pad to ensure all remnants are thoroughly removed. Depending on the condition, this step may require repeating 1-3 times, followed by efficient extraction using a wet vacuum.
Base Cleaning: With all the old finish and stripper eliminated, we meticulously clean the original surface and ensure it’s completely dry. This crucial step is essential to prepare the floor for the next phase.
Finish Application: We typically apply four layers of floor finish, and for high-traffic areas, we may opt for 5-6 layers. The finish dries in approximately 30 minutes, becoming ready for foot traffic.
